Beef - false British origin
Since the beginning of March, a scandal has broken out in Great Britain concerning the adulteration of British origin of beef. This was reported on the BBC and also in the magazine NewFood (Is "British" beef fraud "the tip of an ugly iceberg"? The British competent authority (National Food Crime Unit - NFCU) is investigating this incident involving a British retailer selling beef labeled as "British" when it was actually from Europe and South America.
