Raspberries fraud : a suspected francization

In a television broadcast this summer on a major national channel (M6), it was alleged that raspberries of foreign origin were illegally labelled as being of French origin.

The programme identified the company and, as a result, the AOPn Fraises de France declared at the end of August that it would take legal action if these facts were proven. This is not an isolated case. Other fruits and vegetables are also affected by these practices, such as peaches, apricots and kiwi fruit. The association Pêches et abricots de France has announced a programme of analyses using Eurofins analytical tools to combat this phenomenon.
